What is not covered?

The marketing materials at hand list no explicit benefit exclusions (no policy conditions (AVB) included in the source material). Instead, tiered reimbursement limits cap the level of reimbursement in the first contract years (see below) – this is not an exclusion clause but a coverage limit that decreases over time.

Which deductibles and waiting periods apply?

  • AZM/AZL: no waiting periods – direct entitlement to all insurance benefits from contract inception.
  • Reimbursement limits AZM/AZL (in EUR, tiered by contract duration):

| Months | AZM | AZL | |---|---|---| | 12 | 600 | 1,000 | | 24 | 1,200 | 2,000 | | 36 | 1,800 | 3,000 | | 48 | 2,400 | 4,000 |

These limits are waived in the case of an accident, after the 48th month, or if a prior policy period is recognized.

  • Reimbursement limits Dental Clever (tiered over 60 months, in EUR): A) Dental treatment/prophylaxis/orthodontics: 400/800/1,200/1,600/2,000 (after 12/24/36/48/60 months); B) Dentures/restorations: 200/400/600/800/1,000.
  • Reimbursement limits Dental Premium (tiered over 60 months, in EUR): A) Dental treatment/prophylaxis/orthodontics: 500/1,000/1,500/2,000/2,500; B) Dentures/restorations: 500/1,000/1,500/2,000/2,500.
  • Recognition of prior insurance: Reimbursement limits are waived when switching from a prior policy with a minimum term of 48 months, a seamless transition, minimum benefit levels of 75% (switching to AZM) or 100% (switching to AZL) for dental treatment/restorations, and without reimbursement limits of its own.

What else is important?

  • Premium discount of up to 25% possible with Dental Clever/Premium if benefits (other than dental prophylaxis) are not claimed; full benefit entitlement remains guaranteed.
  • Target groups per the brochure: AZM for cost-conscious individuals who don't need to make major compromises; AZL for policyholders with higher expectations of all-round cover; Dental Clever/Premium especially for families with children – Clever pays out for severe dental misalignment, Premium already for mild misalignment.
  • Advigon positions itself as a personal-lines insurer within the HanseMerkur Group, specializing in disability, supplementary health/travel health insurance, and capital investment products.
